Whittle is a large three bedroom cabin, sleeping 12 and the only cabin on the lake. There is hot and cold running water along with a shower. All outposts are fully equipped with pots, pans, dishes, cutlery, utensils, stove-top coffee makers and wood burning stoves for heat.
Whittle Lake is a little over 3 miles long with largest width being 1.5 miles and has an average depth of 20 feet, with some deeper holes and shallower shoals. Many find trolling for walleye the best option, as well as bringing along a depth finder to navigate the lake.
A mixture of rocks, sand and marshy areas make up the shoreline of this fantastic lake. Whittle offers fantastic walleye and pike action with walleyes up to 30" range and pike into the 40" + range to keep you busy throughout your stay. The creek that comes in at the west end offers a chance at landing speckled trout, guests have actually caught them in the lake at the mouth creek just after ice out.
A beach just around the corner from the camp is a great place to cool down and do some swimming on the warmer days and perfect for lounging and relaxing. Whittle also has a canoe for those wanting to explore a little more down the creek.
